Best of British

Yesterday saw the start of London Fashion Week. And I can't wait to have a look at what London has to offer this season im particularly looking forward to having a snoop at the CSM show from last night! Many greats have come through that one including the greats Alexander McQueen and John Galliano! 

British Fashion was a little bit of a slow starter in comparison to France with Paris leading the way in 'designer' with Coco Chanel and Elsa Scarperelli in the 20s and 30s however WIlliam Hartnell really started to bring fashion to Britain in the 40s and then the absolute blow up in the 60s with Biba and Quant! Since then Britain and London has come into its own creating some incredible designers and fashion houses, Vivienne Westwood, Burberry, McQueen and Temperly to name a few! 

And we are not short of young talent too! Mary Katrantzou has been smashing the textile world and there are many more to watch out for!
