Zoolander's Back
You think your a fashionista? Have you seen Zoolander? No? Then no your not! This hilarious parody of the fashion world is not only back but back with a smash! The main characters Derek Zoolander and Hansel played by Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson closed the amazing Valentino show. What a way to announce the sequel! Every fashion girl must watch for a laugh!!
Channelling Marylin
Marilyn Monroe has been a style icon both in her life and death and I couldn't help noticing the Srella McCartney coats I blogged about earlier today have been worn before by Miss Monroe Herself!
Stella McCartney AW 15/16 PFW
I have finally had a look at the recent Stella show and as usual I loved it! Classic designs given quirky little twists just stunning!
I am in love love love with these coats I actually want one very badly! The high belting makes them accessible to people who are above a size 6 and will still look the way it should. The soft grey is my favourite.
The off the shoulder design of these looks reminds me of Alex Owens seducing Nick Hurley in her innocent way with her off the shoulder jumper (I actually have one exactly the same that was stolen from my mum, worn in the 80s) I think there is nothing sexier then flashing the neck and shoulder, much more than legs and bums!
Even here with the slightly androgynous feel the garment still makes the model look feminine and alluring just by dropping that shoulder! Magic!

Balmain 360
While everyone else is channeling 70s boho Balmain has flipped the trend on its head and taken its inspiration from 70s disco instead! Jumpsuits in bright colours and wide legged flares! Makes me a little nostalgic maybe a night in with Saturday Night Fever and Boogie Nights is in order.

Fringe Fever
As I have always loved a 70s boho throw back I am loving the fringing that is everywhere right now, filtering down from recent runways! Here are a few designers who I think are doing it right!
Shoes: Valentino
Skirt: Sonia Rykiel
Bag: Pierre Hardy
Leather Jacket: DKNY

London life
So yesterday as part of our uni assignment I went to London to look at what is trendy in certain areas at the moment! I have to say I was very disappointed as 2 of the areas we covered were 'market' areas and as it wasn't market day it was very quiet and not a lot going on! However It was a lovely chance to have a stroll around London! I will be posting over the next few days on the individual areas we went to and the style tribes that could be seen and also what trends I associate with those areas from my own experiences.

Mamma and Me
I am so in love with this collection of I could post every picture of every look I would! For the last few season I have adored the Mediterranean Family theme running through the collections and the ad campaigns and by bringing in children and expectant mothers as models has taken this theme to the next level! As a mum myself I love that a design house has considered the precious bump! Now I will say it's a little unrealistic with a young baby to wear designer clothes unless you are ridiculously rich as you will end up with untold amounts for bodily fluids on you but even that does not take away from this amazing collection! Aside from the amazing theme the clothes themselves are just 'wow' there is not a single peice I wouldn't like to own! The bold colours pretty prints, florals and lace is just beautiful!
